a tender stay
romantic spacefree spatram sounds
my room had the grand suite, a space felt very romantic. i loved the afternoon tea between 2-4, a moment to savour. the spa was free to use and reminded me of a gift.
The main road outside my room was lively, the tram sounds continuing late. it made sleep a little difficult. Perhaps quieter rooms are available.

the location IS fantastic. all the sights are within walking distance. tram stops are very close by. i could easily walk to sultanahmet and the hagia sophia and blue mosque and also walk in the other direction to sirkeci tram stop and the bosphorous.
i stayed in the city room. the staff never seemed to be quite sure that i was a guest when i came through the front door and i got quizzical looks. it was presumptive and unfortunately, my experience was not a 5 one, and thus the agressive action left a bad taste in my mouth.

Breakfast IS nice and comforting with a good range of options. the staff are very good. Polite and attentive, with a willingness to help guests at any time. they offered guidance and assistance with directions.

Really good Stay in a Prime Location

The location was convenient, with access to major historical sites. The helpful staff assisted with taxis and provided useful local tips. The rooms were cleaned daily, and I appreciated the complimentary afternoon snacks (a Good touch!). I found ample storage space with plenty of hangers and shelves available.
The main issue was the noticeably COLD pool. This prevented me from fully enjoying the spa facilities.

The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of top attractions, including the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Tram and metro stops are very close by. The hotel reception offers travel cards for convenient transportation. Getting around the city from this location was easy.
